We have been using this fridge for 3 weeks now and we both love it. It has the cold water and automatic ice maker but we didn't hook it up for feat of floods. You should make a fridge like this without these features. The freezer makes noises as if it is trying to make ice cubes. Wish there was some way to turn this off.

The fridge is perfect ... love the filtered water feature and French door style. I have a very narrow kitchen and it fits perfectly. However... things didn't start out good.. my first fridge delivered was broken on bottom. A metal grid was hanging loose and gauged my brand new floor recently installed ! A replacement was delivered and I do love it!

12 years old and never a problem

We bought what seems to be this exact same model in 2007. The dimensions are the same and the interior looks identical. Anyway, not one day has gone by when I haven't loved my fridge. Well, I have to be honest, I don't love it when I have to clean it, but that's not the refrigerator's fault. And I do like the glass shelves because they catch the spills so stuff is not as likely to drip down on other shelves. I also love that I can adjust the shelves to make a wide space to hold trays of food before a party. I know this review sounds like I'm gushing, but I just wanted to add a balancing view to some of the complaints. No one asked me to write this review. The refrigerator is not perfect (the rims on the shelves tend to cause bottles to fall over toward the back) but it has been a workhorse and served our family well for many years.

worst ordeal ever with this refrigerator

Went into best buy and brought this product on oct 12, 2019 was delayed delivery twice while taking off of work 2 times and no delivery 10/18/20149 and again on 10/23/2019 someone called on the 24th saying truck broke down and would be there 4 hours later than time stated on the 24th. People come we see them outside with the refrigerator no box laying down outside our home. These 2 guys hook up the new hose we purchased to the refrigerator and leave after calling to inform the people the refrigerator had dents on the side. The next day we came home from work and there was a puddle of water under the refrigerator and in the front, called the best buy who told my husband to turn off the water to the refrigerator. He had to move out the refrigerator and turn off our water and our wood floor was swollen under the refrigerator and in front of it. They sent three guys out 4 days later who stated it was from the hose attached and they would bring us a new refrigerator. Today is November 7th, 2019 - Still have not received the replacement refrigerator or hose and Best Buy, the delivery people, the trucking people --No body wants to be responsible for our damage to our home. First will never purchase anything from Best buy again and will never purchase Whirlpool again. Will file a complaint with Better Business Bureau and small claims just unbelievable experience with companies of this magnitude.

Water and Ice!

We had a very small refer due to the area being very small. We found a nice refer to fit but at 13 cu ft it was a little small and had no ice or water. This refer was bigger. Fit in the space we had and provides ice and water. We also love that the outside door is plain and doesn't have the ice and water on the door.

We didn't want an ice maker on the door since in our experience these never work that well - in the freezer is good for us as is the inside water dispenser. the appearance is clean and simple and the quality seems very good. Great little fridge!

This refrigerator fits perfectly in our downsized house. Some reviews said noise from ice maker was too loud but I feel it's what one should expect when ice is dropping to a bin. Also another review complained that shelves dropped off items in back. I think that helps with better air flow and cooling for the refrigerator and allows it to function better so for me not a problem. I was used to a much larger unit but it's amazing how much I can get in this 20 cu. ft unit.

Don't Waste Your Money

This fridge must have been designed by a person who has no idea what function anything inside the fridge does. The water dispenser is extremely small, very slow and in the worst possible location. You cant fill up any water bottle or cup over 6 oz. If I could give this thing away I would but as soon as people see where the water comes from they say no. I sadly was given this large hunk of garage with my new home, probably as some horrible joke on me.

Love This Fridge

Needed a counter depth so bought it a month ago. Perfect fit. I definitely did want to water and ice on the door which is a sleeker look without it. The temp settings are very good. The is plenty of room in fridge and freezer. Makes lots of ice quickly. I have almost always had whirlpool appliances and have never had a problem. I have confidence that I have bought a quality appliance. Plus they are made in America So glad I choose this..

Sleek Appearance, Quiet operation

I love the exterior finish...no fingerprints! The water on the inside is easy to access and the ice bin is huge...tons of ice. Counter depth is perfect for us. I can see and reach everything. This refrigerator is beautiful in the kitchen...sleek, pretty, unobtrusive. Most importantly, this refrigerator is QUIET.

Perfect fit, perfect size.

We bought this to replace our 11 year old Kenmore three-door refrigerator. It had stopped defrosting automatically and was dripping water onto the kitchen floor. This refrigerator was perfect. The stainless steel finish matched our other appliances ( all Whirlpool by the way), and it is a true counter depth unit. Our other refrigerator hung over the counter by four or five inches. This fits flush against the counter leaving just enough space for the doors to open. We realized another square foot or two of kitchen space with the addition of this unit. The controls are easy to use and read the build quality of this unit is superior to the Kenmore and we could not be happier.

Good basic fridge

Got this a month ago and it is working great. I like that it has shelved that are wide enough to hold platters. And the shelves are adjustable to hold tall items like a watermelon.

Roomy for counter depth and great features

We love the ice maker in the freezer -lots more ice and the fresh water inside the fridge. We got tired of ice falling on the floor (from the door) in our previous fridge. Even though this is counter depth it seems roomy. We love it!

ok, but too shallow depth

first time we have bought a French door and I do not recommend it due to very shallow shelf space. My old standard freezer on top/ one door refrigerator is now in our garge and it has deeper shelver.

I've been pleased with my new Whirlpool refrigerator. Easy set up. Keeps the food in the perfect temperate environment. What a difference this made in our lives. We now can see our fresh produce in a new light literally. Everything looks more edible and we don't waste anymore food. No longer do we hide and forget food in the back shelf. Our new counter depth refrigerator fits my kitchen great. The kitchen is small so this is just what we needed.The refrigerator space is great. The freezer space is too small. We had to go back and purchase a freezer to put in the garage for addition freezer space.

Fits the space I had available with feature I wanted. Lacking...to open bottom draw, both doors have to be open. No butter dish provision. Limited shelf heights in refrigerator and doors. On the small size. Otherwise, meets our needs..
