Purchased a brand new TR7003BN. It has been throwing breakers, fault codes, and nothing but issues since purchase. We currently have it hooked up via a heavy duty appliance extension cord do a GFCI outlet so that it reduces the number of trips per load until customer service (it's been weeks) gets a resolution. They dispatched someone to check it out, ruled the appliance is faulty, but no resolution still.

I would like someone to call me. Called with concerns regarding the agitator. Was told they can't put everything on the sticker on the machine. I would think when you purchase the Cadillac it would do everything and then some. It just swiches the water doesn't really agitate move back/forth

First experience with Speed Queen. So far so good.

After dealing with a greasy film on the barrel of the washer, things have gone really well. We had done an initial wipe out of the barrel before running any water as the instructions indicated. But after that was done and we did the initial load, there was more of the film that we had originally. A firm wiping with cleaning vinegar seems to have resolved it. Since then, everything had been just great!!

My Speedqueen experience started about 8 years ago with the front loader which I love. Not one service call. So when I put in my second laundry area off my kitchen I decided to get the top of the line top loader tr7 in black. I love it just as much. It is extremely gentle on clothes regardless of cycle used, and there are plenty to choose from. Since this is the tr 7 which is not the classic version which utilizes a more aggressive wash. If washing very dirty or stained laundry it it probably best to add the soak option for best results. It is extremely quiet and like the front loader built like a tank. If you select hot wash you get hot water not warm unless using the eco cycles which I don't recommend. 5 stars for sure!

I am really happy with my TR7 top load washer!

After 2 years and $650 wasted money on the brand with shock absorbers that goes off balance even when empty I now love to use my Speed Queen. I can set it for more or less EVERYTHING! I thought I would need to delete the lid lock but no need....there is a button. It washes as much as the big tub brand because you cannot fill that bigger tub without that machine self destructing. I researched and looked at machines for weeks. The only competition is which Speed Queen model to choose.

I really wanted a simple washing machine that didn't have the "bells and whistles" a lot of the appliances these days have. I wanted something that would clean my clothes, was easy to use and worth the money. This washing machine is that! I love the simplicity of the control panel, the options for the clothes, stainless steel interior and an agitator! I really wanted to go back to a top loader after having a front loader for 14 years that was moldy and smelly. I'm a clean person, but could absolutely not keep that thing clean! The price is higher than the standard machines out there, but it's so worth it. I'm very happy with the purchase and 7 year warranty!

Excellet washer, but missing one option

The washer is very good, very quiet. But it should include an option for extra spin on the cycle. It has many other options for soak, extra rinse, etc - but no option for extra spin time. The only choice is to run a separate spin only cycle at the end of the wash cycle.

This washer works great, Gets everything clean and clothes smell clean. It is so nice to put blankets, rugs, or a comforter in the washer without it going off balance or not washing properly. First washer that is close to my old kenmore washer. The only thing I have noticed is that I can hear a bit of water that stays below the tub. You can't see it. If I move the tub I can hear a water swish. Maybe the drain is too high in the back of the machine. Best water I have used since my Kenmore retired.

So far worth the money!

My wife and I have both commented that the clothes seem brighter. We've had Kenmore and LG but they didn't make it to 10 years without issues. Only a couple of minor issues with Speed Queen. We got the flat black washer and dryer and the adhesive on the info stickers sticks to the tops. Before reading not to use alcohol to remove the adhesive I did the usual thing- grab the alcohol! It discolored the dryer top slightly but it seems to be fading. Maybe talk to the label folks? The other thing is the washer lid. It needs a spring or something to ease the closing motion. If you let go it slams shut! Other than that we're happy with our investment!

I was tired of replacing my washer and dryer every 5 years, which is how long our techs told us they currently last. Both appliances were so loud I could hear them outside my house. My daughter in law has several friends who have Speed Queens, and said they last 20-25 years. My goal was to buy the last washer and dryer I would ever need in my life. I couldn't be more happy with both. They are so quiet! Our clothes are so much brighter and smell clean. I had no idea our front loader washer wasn't cleaning our clothes. DOES NOT CLEAN CLOTHES!! BEWARE

If you have kids or a husband that works outside, this is NOT the washer for you. This washer does not clean clothes even on the highest setting with expensive, heavy duty detergent. It even didn't clean pretreated clothes. And I'm not talking about filthy clothes, I'm talking about just normal wear clothes a little dirt or something on them. I experimented for MONTHS with settings, detergent, multiple washes and I ended up getting a replacement washer less than a year after I purchased this washer new...what a huge waste of money. About 8 months after buying, a technician came out and confirmed there was nothing wrong with my machine. Speed queen came highly recommended but later I found out this model is has a different motor and smaller agitator, which causes it to not rotate the clothes as much as their classic machines, which is probably why it doesn't clean clothes.

Also we purchased the matte black which looks terrific in our laundry room that is visible from our kitchen. My change to Speed Queen

I have always purchased Whirlpool or Maytag washers before. My last Whirlpool lasted 4 years before it needed a transmission, then another year before it needed to be repaired again. Then last year it started making wild nosies while spinning. I decided I was not going to put any more money into it. When being repaired the repairman mentioned, when asked, next time get a Speed Queen they are reliable and are made to last 25 years. Well, this time I purchased a Speed Queen, it was more money than the other brands, but the model I purchased came with a 7 year warranty which includes parts and labor. My sister has one as well, as she has had great luck with it. They are well built and I expect it to last a long time.

A Washer that actually gets clothes clean

This machine replaces a six year old LG that was supposed to be the top of their line. The difference between the old machine and the Speed Queen is like night and day. The clothes come out nearly dry and without any soap residue. Because of allergies, we have made our own laundry detergent for years and the machine works great with it.
