What a difference!

This is my first built-in refrigerator. Was very skeptical when the sales associate was telling me that foods stay fresh longer, due to the difference in cooling methodology. He was sooo correct! As we live about 30 minutes from the closest grocery store, this has made a huge difference. Plus, the $$ of spoiled foods that get discarded has been virtually eliminated.

I brought this about 6 months when my 37 year old built finally failed. I love the look of this appliance. When we host dinner, this is the only appliance that guests comment on. The interior design is awesome

Nice Looking Fridge, But Frought with Issues

One my second French Door Refridgerator. First one was a manufacturing disaster with panels that would not install flush. Was sent a second fridge which was also poorly manufactured. This one the freezer door panel is impossible to flush mount. They also installed a shorter flipper mullion. After technician brought the correct one, we could see there was a defect in the alignment that will not allow the doors to close properly or smoothly with correct flipper installed. I now believe this is why the swapped it for the shorter one on the assembly line - not realizing that it would not work. I am stuck with a short mullion that crashes into the bottom deli drawer each time you close. I simply can't believe the poor quality checks and manufacturing. I can see why other country's are suprpassing us. If we can't make a fridge anymore without defects, it makes you wonder.

disappointing design of interior

We are very disappointed with the interior space because of a lot of wasted space. The shelves are almost 2 inches from the back wall and the junction of the lower shelf and vegetable drawers do not allow things to sit flat. Also a lot of wasted space here. Our previous refrigerator, a Kitchenaid, had the same outside dimensions, but more usable space inside.

The appliance is nice looking but I'm disappointed with the way things operate. The gasket on the door has so little clearance that we have to push in on it slightly to open the drawers each time. We also have a problem with the door seal not letting the door close easily. It requires an extra push to make sure it seats.

We were shopping for more expensive brands when we first saw the Jenn Air. We were struck by the black interior and dramatic lighting, definitely the sexiest fridge we had come across. When we found out that it came with every feature that other brands reserve for their models that are 50% higher it was a no brainer. Everyone who comes to our house comments on this fridge.

I love this stove and oven, the combination of cooking with gas on the stovetop and electric in the oven is perfect. The stovetop is super easy to clean, so it always looks beautiful. I love the digital display for the oven, very modern.

Vegetable drawer bumps the rubber door gasket everytime it is opened. In addition to it being annoying to have to bend the drawer to the side to open it all the way, the gasket will eventually become compromised and the cool will seep out making the motor work harder and shorten the life of the refrigerator. For the cost of this product, the quality is sub par.

Thank goodness we also purchased an under counter beverage refrigerator. Just two of us in the house and storage in the fridge and freezer is limited due to flush design. After we had the kitchen completed and we were stocking the freezer, it became apparent that we needed more storage space for frozen foods. We purchased a deep freezer for the garage and solved that issue. This fridge/freezer sure does look pretty though!!!

It is amazing how such a large refrigerator can have so little space inside it. It is fine for a couple or a family of three perhaps, but more than that you should have a second unit somewhere. Inadequate space for food for holidays and family gatherings

Well, my wife is the cook, not me. And we came to know Jenn Air back in the '70's with the downdraft grill that we loved. Now after several new homes and kitchens, we replaced the premium wall oven in our 10 year old retirement home with a Jenn Air last year and our premium built in refrigerator this year, and we could not be more satisfied. As an architect, I pride quality and high end design in our home, and both of these appliances stand out. Quality is unique and obvious, and if performance was an issue, the cook would let me know in no uncertain terms. But to open the refrigerator to an obsidian interior with LED lighting and the soft sound of drawers that seal the fruit and veggies, say no more.

It's a beautiful frig with plenty of room. The obsidian interior makes all of the food pop with color. Shelves are easy to remove and clean. Also love the Sabbath mode for vacation.
