I have always loved Frigidaire products until I bought this AC. It is incredibly loud when the compressor kicks on and I mean obnoxiously loud. Tons of vibration and a high pitched pinging.

I've only had it for a short time. This is my 4th over the past 25 years. It cools my whole house. The last one was great for 5 years but this years extreme heat and drought took a toll on it. In my area of Texas we had extreme Sahara dust as well as our own dust. I thoroughly cleaned it but it would not cool anymore. Decided to get a new one with extended warranty. Only issue was a design change in the widow surround. It was expanded by half an inch and would not fit my window. Luckily my old one fit perfectly in my window. But beware its bigger and may not fit where the previous one did. Hoping it lasts for many years.

The AC unit arrived on time. It was easy to install. It is heavy and a large unit. It is not as quiet as anticipated. It is loud. It cools very well. I set it at 72 degrees and it stays there. It cools 3- 4 rooms easily. Overall happy with this purchase and would recommend to friends and family.

The Frigidaire 28000 btu window a/c unit is very nice. Cools the house very well (I have 3 oscillating fans to help with circulation). Have only used Eco mode, after an initial 20 minutes on Auto mode. Beats melting in the heat! We'll see what next month's electric bill brings...

I installed this in a 30x40' pole building with high ceilings. I installed through the wall just above head height. With the help of a small fan on the opposite side of the building to circulate the air it will easily keep the whole building 73 degrees when it's 90+ outside. It pulls out the humidity FAST.

We had a 24,000 btu you and we bought this 28,000 btu. When it arrived we had been without ac for a week and we live in hot humid Georgia. Within 20 minutes this place was good and cool! Boy it sure cools off our whole place. The fan blows way across the room and we even have to turn the thermostat up because we get cold! I would recommend this Frigidaire brand to anyone.
